Well it looks like Rich Homie will be stepping away from Rich Gang to focus more on himself. During a recent interview Rich Homie mentioned off-air that he’ll be working on his long-delayed debut album.

“I have been focusing more on myself, I’ve stepped away from Rich Gang a little bit just to get back to Quan. The people want Quan back.” “It’s cool for the moment.”

Bobby Shmurda called into Hot97’s Ebro In The Morning radio show to clear up rumors and reports about his legal situation. Shmurda confirmed he is currently in protective custody.

“They got me in protective custody inside the Manhattan building called ‘The Tombs,’” said Shmurda. “Court ordered – at first, me and Rowdy [Rebel] had stuck it out. We were in intake before they take you up. They had us sleeping in there for like two days. I was like, ‘My back’s starting to hurt. We’re going upstairs.’”

Bobby and Rowdy Rebel got into an altercation which made Rowdy get placed in solitary confinement. Bobby also talked about the treatment from the police the night he was arrested.

“What [the public] is hearing about that night is bulls**t. It’s not true. The cops been trying to slay me forever, but they never catch me with nothing,” said Shmurda. “Four or five cops had grabbed me up. They told me, ‘I don’t want my kids listening to your music.’”

The conversation was cut short after Bobby said all that. We can make the assumption the authorities cut the call.
